Book Description
One problem with some people's idea of poetry is that it is incompatible with science; no doubt, the world has progressed to the extent where the patina of the moon as it shines on a remote spot in Paris where two lovers kiss and caress can now be explained scientifically, so there's really no reason for the two lovers to kiss anymore, is there?
The title poem, The Red Spot (or The Red Spot on Jupiter), is one reason why science and poetry need to share perceptions in order for the perceiver to be complete as a human being.
These sonnets are a compilation of ideas, some satirical, some serious ... never too serious, though. Life's too short.
